Description
There's plenty to do in your local park or recreation ground
During the summer months you'll find an exciting programme of events in Kirklees parks, including brass band concerts, musical extravaganzas and sports events. There is something for everyone so call in and enjoy the fun.
All year round enjoy the scenery and take a chance to look at the plants and shrubs in the parks.
There are sports facilities - multi-courts, tennis courts and bowling greens. In some parks there are pitch and putt courses and skate parks.
For children there are play areas full of swings, climbing frames and slides - you can relax while they play.
