This group covers the former L&Y Spen Valley Line that ran along the Southern Edge of the Spen Valley in West Yorkshire from Low Moor to the outskirts of Dewsbury and to Mirfield with stations at Cleckheaton (Central), Liversedge (Central) and Heckmondwike (Central) before meeting the company's Calder Valley mainline to reach Wakefield.

    Please note that Cleckheaton, Liversedge and Heckmondwike (Spen Stations) are on the LNWR's line down the Valley and are covered by the 'Leeds New Line Appreciation Group'
