  1. The pantry is a membership discount grocery shop that supports families and individuals who are living in hardship.

    We hope the pantry brings dignity in accessing affordable food.

    Pantry Membership is not just for people on benefits, it is for anyone who is feeling financial hardship, and membership is FREE. You can join in-store. See website or call in for details.

    Members pay £4 per 10 items (price at December, 2025).

    Open: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am till 2pm.

    Food donations are warmly welcomed, and will be sold to local families and individuals who are struggling with hardship to help them avoid crisis.

    Due to the nature of food hygiene, we can only accept food donations from unopened packaging, or pre-washed home grown fruit and veg.

    We cannot accept home-made or home-cooked food like pies/cakes.

    Yes to apples from your apple tree, but no to apple pie you make from them.

Normally we add categories for you when the entry is set up, but you have the option to edit them. Very occasionally some categories have restricted usage and we’ll let you know if we feel there’s a problem.
