Dewsbury Market offers a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, meat and pies, as well as household goods, clothing and hot and cold food.

Open Market - Wednesday and Saturday 9.00am to 4.30pm
Still the largest and most renowned open market in Yorkshire, Dewsbury’s open market boasts a wide range of stalls on general market days. With a range of goods to rival any supermarket, at real value for money prices.

Market Hall, Monday – Saturday (half day closing on Tuesday) 8.30am to 4.00pm
This fabulous Victorian Market Hall, which celebrated its centenary in 2004, was the focal point of trading in the town when it was built. When it became full the open market grew up around it. Check with individual traders for their opening times.

    Friday Second-Hand Market 9am to 3.30pm
Whilst not on the grand scale of the general market days, the second-hand market still has a tantalising array of goods to tempt the discerning bargain hunter.
