Normally we add categories for you when the entry is set up, but you have the option to edit them. Very occasionally some categories have restricted usage and we’ll let you know if we feel there’s a problem.

If you want to change your venue or add a new one please use the postcode / street name field to see a list of venues. This should cover all venues in Kirklees, but if you can’t find the venue you need please contact Community Directory, and we will advise or add it for you.

Ride into summer at Eureka!

  1. Eureka! The National Children's Museum presents a summer packed full of fun, with a rootin' tootin' Wild West showdown and an a-mazing outdoor maze to explore.

    From Saturday 23 July to Sunday 4 September 2011 saddle up for a summer of fun, indoors and out, with 'Wild Wild West' activities. Outdoors, blaze a trail to the Eureka! Park where an a-mazing maze awaits to be explored with exciting challenges. Children and their families can learn about the Old West with Dodge City Sheriff School, performances and craft sessions or take part in the Papoose Pow-Wow.

    Other playful learning opportunities include an opportunity to meet a Native American Indian and see some of the crafts from Apache Art Co. or take part in cultural workshops from Calderdale Council Countryside Service who will bring a tepee for children to explore. The Trailblazers western re-enactment society will also be along to set up camp.
