  1. The League runs a Table Tennis Centre at Heckmondwike Sports Club.

Dewsbury table tennis league was founded in 1931, and over the years has produced many top players.

In the early 1990's, they applied for a grant from the National Lottery to build a purpose built table tennis centre and to date, it is one of the most popular venues for table tennis in Yorkshire.

Players of any age are welcome to become a member, and we have a range of options from free (pay as you go) to full, which means that you can play at the club any time day or night. Discounts are also available for junior and senior members.

The club is commited to helping young players develop their standard and as such, we provide coaching sessions for the youngsters.

If you are new table tennis, or maybe have played before and would like to start up again, then please get in touch to find out more.

We look forward to hearing from you.

History

  1. Dewsbury Table Tennis League was founded in 1931.
In the late 1990s we obtained a lottery grant and built this table tennis centre.

It has enabled us to survive the loss of other table tennis venues, e.g. Youth Clubs and works canteens.
