  1. The Community of the Resurrection is a Church of England monastery in Mirfield.
We welcome you to come to CR and to share in our life. Some come regularly to talk with a brother, others spend a day or two experiencing this very different environment. Individuals and groups come on retreat and pilgrimage, share in the teaching and courses we offer and join us in worship and meals.

Throughout the year people also come to make use of our wide variety of flexible conference and meeting spaces seating anywhere between 6 to 70 delegates. Additionally Mirfield Monastery is an ideal venue for any family occasion - weddings, Christenings, Birthday celebration or Funeral teas.

The Community is also home to 'Mirfield Monastery B&B'. Located in an Annexe building within the grounds of the House of the Resurrection, the B&B is ideally located just off the M62 near Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield and Halifax, in the heart of the Pennines – the enviable location of Mirfield Monastery offers excellent access and great countryside.
