  1. Paddock Trust manages Paddock Village Hall, a very active community venue in Huddersfield offering a range of local services, following acquisition of the building after freehold asset transfer from Kirklees Council.

    Paddock Community Trust is a growing charity which supports people to access training, develop skills and become active members of the community.

    The Trust delivers an extensive range of services, specialising in adult learning and employment support, throughout Kirklees working with partners in the public and voluntary sectors.

    Trust services include accredited and informal adult learning, employment support programmes, specialist mentoring, advice and guidance services and particular experience in delivering projects that successfully promote digital inclusion.

Venue

If you want to change your venue or add a new one please use the postcode / street name field to see a list of venues. This should cover all venues in Kirklees, but if you can’t find the venue you need please contact Community Directory, and we will advise or add it for you.

    2. Either, there are specially marked parking spaces for disabled people, or disabled people can park within 50 metres of an accessible entrance. Disabled parking

News

You can add or amend news items, and the date will change automatically, although you may need to go back into the entry to see the revised date.

To delete a news item, there is a delete option when you press Edit. This currently works only on the headline, and the text field needs to be saved with at least one digit in it, e.g. ‘x’. Alternatively, you can replace it with a new item.

Computers for beginners

  1. Do you want to gain confidence and learn new skills? The 'Computers for beginners' course at Paddock Learning Centre can help. The course is designed to introduce novices and complete beginners to the fundamentals of computing… no experience is necessary.

    You will learn how the computer works, understand the jargon and learn how to organise your work. Once you have completed this course you will have the confidence to move on to one of our more specialised courses.
