  1. Young Company: a home for our creative young people.

We learn from professional theatre practitioners: directors/actors/producers.

We embrace the bold and creative ideas of our members.

    We create exciting performances.

We watch and are inspired by professional productions.

Our Young Company classes run weekly throughout the year. Each term our passionate Young Company leaders focus on a specific theme, and we work towards an end of term sharing performance for parents, carers, family and friends. In the Autumn we focus on our pantomime title; in the Spring we are inspired by a show in our programme; and in the Summer we work towards a full Young Company performance in our Courtyard.

Previous terms have seen our Young Company create their own version of Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, a murder-mystery play and a radio play.

    Our groups and classes are:

    Stage Door – for ages 6-8, Saturdays, 10:30am – 12pm

    Studio 1 – for ages 9-11, Thursdays, 5pm – 7pm

    Studio 2 – for ages 12-16, Wednesdays, 5pm – 7pm

If you are not already an existing member of our Young Company, please contact our Young Company Coordinator, Keisha (keisha@thelbt.org). Everyone is welcome, we just want to say hello before you join us!
