Jun 26th Trans Pennine Express - Paul Staples, Fleet Director

A presentation this evening by Paul Staples, TPE Fleet Director. The UK is presently ‘busting at the seams’ with new trains, so come along and learn about the TPE fleet.

    July 10th Outdoor visit.

With the rapid changes happening on the East Coast Main Line, we have a trip to Doncaster. Meet lunch time onwards at Doncaster station, where The Draughtsman pub will be open, and it’s a short walk off the station for eats if interested.

July 24th. This evening is a social get together at The Corner Pub, 5 Market Walk, Huddersfield. We shall be using the top floor. Please bring along any slides and digital images, projectors will be available. Please patronise the bar as the room is free of charge!

    August 7th. Outdoor visit.

After many aborted planned trips, the Tram Train has arrived! Catch the 12:12 train from Huddersfield to Meadowhall, for access to the Supertram into Sheffield. A change can be made to join a Tram Train to Rotherham, then return into Sheffield. A suitable eating place will be sourced (usually The Devonshire Cat).

August 21st. Leeds to Llandudno with diversions - Roger Hepworth

Tonight, our very own Roger Hepworth will entertain us with material from his vast archive! Although the presentation is ‘Leeds to Llandudno with diversions’, knowing Roger, we could actually go anywhere!

    September 4th. Steve Batty

A welcome return this evening for Steve Batty. Steve has entertained us in the past, with a variety of presentations and at the annual dinner. Always finding somewhere east of the A1, he does like to be out there for plenty of steam.

September 18th. The audience selects - Gavin Morrison

After a huge effort by Gavin on scanning and filing his slides, he can give shows where the audience selects from any number of folders on the memory stick. Should be a fascinating evening!
