  1. An annual carnival usually held in June. Please see our website for details of this year's carnival. There is also usually a fundraising craft fair on the last Saturday in November at Berry Brow Methodist Church. Stall enquiries for both are welcome as are volunteers to help on the day.

The Carnival is to bring fun to the community and to involve local groups as much as possible. Everyone is welcome to this family fun day with something for everyone from traditional children's games, tug o war, refreshments, 3 a side football, Welly Wanging; egg throwing and there will be a variety of stalls and events to suit all interests and age groups including the now annual graffiti board.

As the Carnival is held in a field wheelchair access is difficult but stewards will be willing to help. If weather is poor the event will take place at Berry Brow Methodist Church, Birch Road, HD4 7LP which has fully accessible disabled toilets and access to and around the building.

Contributions to cake stall and tombola are most welcome as are offers of help on the stalls on the day. Please contact us for more details.
