Miners Gala and Memorial dedication in Thornhill

At Rectory Park, Thornhill. Free entry, with something for all the family.

Various stalls and refreshments, Grange Moor Brass Band and Thornhill Community Choir.

At 2pm Dedication of the The Thornhill Community Mining Memorial Wheel by the Reverend Debbie Nash in memory of miners who died in local colliery disasters.
