About the event
Join us and Cecil Green Arts for a fun and FREE lantern making workshop during February Half Term.
Make and decorate your very own lantern inspired by the beauty of geometric shapes in Islamic art and stunning stained-glass colours. The lanterns will be illuminated and feature in ‘A Gathering of Light,’ a coming together of the community and hopes for the future at the ‘Umeedon ka Jashan’ Celebration of Hope event on Sunday 13 April at Bagshaw Museum.
Workshop is suitable for children of all ages but must be accompanied by an adult.
All materials and lunch will be provided.
**Free to attend but booking in advance is required due to limited space!
