 There are many events and regular activities at Mirfield Library, as shown on their helpful monthly newsletter. This can be accessed on the Friends facebook page - link under Further Information.

Regular events are likely to include:

Reading and spoken word groups (monthly)

Friday coffee and chat mornings (weekly)

Art club (weekly)

Ancestry drop-in sessions (twice monthly)

Lego club (Saturday mornings)

Also the fortnightly community Hub Drop in offers information, support and advice to Mirfield residents.

Dates and venues

  • Monday 12 June 2023 - 10:30am, Activities are ongoing and may run till at least the date shown but please check for any changes. Currently the Hub Drop In runs fortnightly at 10.30, and a U3A Readers group runs monthly on Mondays.
  • Wednesday 14 June 2023 - 2:00pm, Activities are ongoing and may run till at least the date shown but please check for any changes. Currently the Library Bookworms and the spoken word group run monthly, and the archive group twice monthly on Wednesdays.
  • Friday 16 June 2023 - 10:30am, Activities are ongoing and may run till at least the date shown but please check for any changes. Currently the coffee and chat (from 10.30am) and the art group run weekly on Fridays.
  • Saturday 17 June 2023 - 10:30am, Activities are ongoing and may run till at least the date shown but please check for any changes. Currently the lego club meets at 10.30am on Saturdays.
