Bud - Outdoor voluntary work in Dalton, Huddersfield

About this activity

Growing Works is a vibrant charity supporting children, families, adults and carers who have a range of disabilities, physical or mental health needs. Our aim is to Nurture Healthy Lives Outdoors, reducing social isolation, building practical and life skills whilst having fun along the way.

Come along to the allotments on Wakefield Road, Dalton, and help them with gardening and site maintenance. You can be part of a team, sharing or learning skills, enjoying the outdoors and nurturing the environment.

We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sessions in the summer run 10am till 2.30pm. Then from the end of September we meet 10am to 12.30pm. Please check our website for latest details.
