About the event

Say goodbye to 2020 and start the new year with some much needed positivity! Throughout January the Lawrence Batley Theatre are going to be giving you a toolkit to help nourish your mind, body and soul.

Each weekday they will be sharing a free digital delight which are broken down into five themes...

Movement Mondays

Movement & dance tutorials for the mind led by Kevin Edward Turner, Co-Artistic Director of Company Chameleon.

Singalong Tuesdays

Satirical songs to make you smile performed by local songwriter and Lawrence Batley Theatre favourite Richard Sykes.

Wellbeing Wednesdays

Short guided meditation sessions led by mindfulness & movement practitioner Lizzie Wiggs for those moments when you need to pause, take a breath and reset.

Theatre Thursdays

Performances of inspiring and uplifting monologues directed by Joyce Branagh with writers including Nick Ahad & Ian Kershaw and performed by Krissi Bohn, Jamie Smelt, Yasmeen Khan & Amy Drake.

Foodie Fridays

Healthy and wholesome digital recipes for the weekend created by Asma Khan, the first British Chef to appear on Chef’s Kitchen.

The free content will be shared across the Lawrence Batley Theatre's website, social media channels and mailing list.
