The Sewing Studio: programme of workshops (Dewsbury)

About the event

Discover, Make, and Master Sewing!

Join our fun, hands-on course and take your sewing from basics to brilliant. Whether you’re a total beginner or want to refresh your skills, you’ll:
Master essential sewing skills – from threading a machine to professional seams, hems, and fastenings.

Create real projects – make your own tote bags, elasticated trousers, and personalized mini-projects.

Get creative – experiment with textures, 3D textiles, surface manipulation, and embellishments.

Learn at your pace – drop in for sessions that interest you or commit to the full sessions, week by week.

Build confidence and skills – measure, cut, sew, and finish your own garments with pride.

By the end, you’ll leave with finished projects, new skills, and the confidence to customise or create garments for your own wardrobe.

For adults aged 18+. £5 per class.
