Beginners Archery Course (Dewsbury)

About the event

South Leeds Archers run regular beginners courses which run over 3 weeks at their indoor range in Dewsbury.

If you have little or no experience in archery, then you simply need to complete a beginners’ course which covers everything to get you started safely and to enable you to join a local club (hopefully ours). Our coaches are all Archery GB licensed and the classes are a maximum of 8 participants. The minimum age is 10 years old with no upper limit.

Our courses are compact, just 3 consecutive weekly sessions, with the start date and time as indicated below - you must be able to attend all sessions to complete the course.

Each session lasts 3 hours, with a short break at half time and the full cost is £65 per person - all equipment is provided suitable for your size and handedness. Courses are run at our indoor range in Dewsbury where we can provide a great place to teach and practice archery without being interrupted by the British weather.

Please note that there are two flights of stairs up to our second floor range with no lift available at present.
