St Andrew's Methodist Church (Liversedge) activities

About this activity

The Church serves the surrounding community not only on Sundays with a friendly welcome to our services, but by keeping our building busy during the week as a meeting place for anyone to come along and find companionship. Please come along to any/all of our activities, we look forward to seeing you!

These currently include the following, however please check our website link under Further Information for possible changes.

Community Café – Mondays 10am to 2pm (not Bank Holidays) Our aim is to provide an atmosphere of friendship and hospitality, so that everyone has an opportunity to chat, make new friends and feel that they matter as part of our wider church community.

Movement and Games in Chairs (M.A.G.I.C) – Mondays 11am to 11.30am (not Bank Holidays)

Knit and Natter – Mondays 1.30pm to 4pm (not Bank Holidays), all skill levels are most welcome from absolute beginners to experienced crafters, with help, teaching and advice available in an informal atmosphere.

Friendship Club - alternate Tuesday afternoons 2pm to 4pm (not held during August) with speakers, games afternoons and entertainers throughout the year. All are welcome to attend and a printed programme of events is available from the church.

Film Night - first Friday of each month at 7pm (finishes approx. 9.15pm). We show a variety of films, some recent, some "golden oldies" but always with the aim of entertaining and informing. We have an intermission and ice- creams, tea and coffee are served. Admission and refreshments are free, but we ask for a donation if possible.
