The Partnership has regular walks from stations on the line. Only those in Kirklees are listed on this page but others can be easily accessed by train from stations on the line.

Saturday 7 March 2026 - 10:15am, Start at 10.15am at Lockwood Station - finish at Berry Brow. Explore the length of the former Meltham Branch Line, now partly a greenway which may soon be extended. Distance 6 or 10 miles.

Saturday 21 March 2026 - 10:00am, From Calder To Colne! - Meet outside Huddersfield station for the short walk to the bus station then catch the bus to Brighouse and walk back to Huddersfield. 8 miles.
