The Winslow Boy performed by Dewsbury Arts Group

About the event

Set against the strict codes of conduct and manners of the age, The Winslow Boy follows a father's fight to clear his son’s name after the boy is expelled from Naval College for allegedly stealing a five-shilling postal order.

Refusing to believe his guilt and dissatisfied with the manner in which the investigation was conducted, he demands a new inquiry and fights tirelessly for his son's honour.

Terence Rattigan’s classic play first presented in 1946.
