Vibe Jive Dance in Holmfirth

About this activity

Great music, great people, great exercise, great fun!

We are a very friendly dance group who love to dance and socialise. Friendships are formed here and become as important as the dance we all love. Modern Jive is a partner dance which is easy to learn as the footwork is quite simple. The style of dance is loosely based on various types of dance including Latin, Ballroom, Jive and others. Most important of all, it is great fun and a brilliant way to make new friends.

We begin with a beginners lesson at 7.30pm followed by freestyle until the intermediate lesson at around 8.30pm. Then it’s back to freestyle to practice those moves, or just dance your socks off! We also have choccies and other treats on the tables – how good can it get?!

No special clothing is required and no special shoes (initially) – just be comfortable!
No partner is required – you’ll meet plenty of people to partner up with.
No experience required – after 6 weeks you’ll be moving onto Intermediate!

No booking necessary, just turn up!
