Up and Away - family show at the Mining Museum

About the event

Join us on an exciting journey as we take you back to the Merrie Fair, Wakefield 1827, as the crowds gather to witness the daring hot air balloon mission of the mysterious Brown Brothers!

This interactive family friendly show by Tmesis Theatre uses words, puppetry, and physical theatre, in a celebration of hope and dreaming the impossible.

Tmesis Theatre are an acclaimed physical theatre company based in Liverpool.

Up and Away! is part of WordFest led by Wakefield Council, until 31 May 2024 across the Wakefield district.
