About the event

This year will be the 8th ArtattheHouse event and each year we have steadily grown the number and diversity of artists taking part. As well as some new faces we welcome back many of those who have been with us from the very beginning. Our visitors will discover over 40 local artists displaying their work, wonderfully interactive workshops, and music to keep them entertained.

The ArtattheHouse event attracts local artists exhibiting a wide variety of media including Ceramics, Painting, Sculpture, Creative Textiles, Print-making, Drawing, Glass, Enamel & Copper and Jewellery to name but a few.

Discover the work of artists and craftspeople as you explore beautiful buildings and lovely woodland walks, all in the grounds of Cliffe House, close to the centre of Shepley village.

You can meet them and discuss what they do. Many of these will be offering workshops for you to try and of course we hope you will find lots of beautiful items to buy and take home with you.

ArtattheHouse is a Community Interest Company formed by artists from the Shepley area with the aim of providing a platform for local artists to showcase and sell their work, to encourage students and grow their confidence in exhibiting and selling their work, to involve local residents in creative activities and to promote Cliffe House and it’s grounds as a core, educational venue in the community.
