Collection Open Day or event - Knitting and Crochet Guild (Slaithwaite)

About the event

Come and see how we care for and store our Collection of knitted and crochet items, tools and documents that support the crafts. Talk with our expert volunteers about how we are preserving this history of our crafts, and learn more about the Guild.

We have Open Days where you can view our collection; and Meet the Team Days where you can find out more about our Collection and meet members of the team who research and look after it.

Note on accessibility. Our Collection is housed on the first floor of on old building. Access is by stairs. Unfortunately, it is not possible to visit the Collection if you are unable to climb up and down stairs.
