Dates and venues

  • Friday 20 February 2026 - 7:30pm, Kevlar Boombox and Jacob Shaw raising funds for the Marsden Defib project: Get ready for an unforgettable evening of soul, funk, and live grooves
  • Friday 27 February 2026 - 3:30pm - 7:30pm, Friday Club - is about community and accessible culture for all ages the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Includes Minifest (music 5.30 to 6.30) - high-energy songs for young people with a few familiar favourites for the grown-ups.
  • Saturday 28 February 2026 - 10:00am - 1:00pm, Leather Painting Workshop: r a fun, hands on workshop where you will design and paint your own leather accessory. Bring a jacket / boots / handbag / gloves to paint – it must be real leather. £35 Booking required.
  • Thursday 5 March 2026 - 7:30pm, Brian Groom with the latest in his series of entertaining and accessible histories, following ‘The Northerners’ and ‘Made in Manchester’. This time Brian has turned to the rich and varied histories of the peoples of the British Isles.
  • Friday 20 March 2026 - 8:00pm, Huddersfield Blues Club event with Alice Armstrong, Pat Fulgoni Blues Experience, Crosscut Saw and Flock of 3.
  • Saturday 21 March 2026 - 8:00pm, Down in Laurel Canyon - A timeless journey through the songs that shaped a generation. An unforgettable live celebration of the artists who defined an era – from Neil Young to Carole King, Fleetwood Mac to The Doors.
  • Friday 27 March 2026 - 8:00pm, The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican - far from being your typical folk ensemble, this cult-like collective of like-minded knit-wear enthusiasts are determined to follow in their spiritual father’s immortal footsteps and keep his legacy alive.
  • Thursday 2 April 2026 - 1:30pm, Little Red Riding - Join Panto Ever After for our spectacular Easter Pantomime, Perfect for ages 4-12yrs and their families – book now for an egg-citing Easter treat.
  • Thursday 2 April 2026 - 7:30pm, Poet John McAuliffe will read from a selection of his work, and talk about his inspiration and influences. McAuliffe is an Irish poet, who has lived in Manchester since 2004. Includes book signing and sales. Free - book online.
