Dates and venues

  • Thursday 6 March 2025 - 7:30pm, Florence Lockwood: the extraordinary life of a Colne Valley Suffragist. A discussion of Florence's life and work and a celebration of her achievements this International Women's Day.
  • Friday 7 March 2025 - 8:00pm, KLONK are an 8-piece party & festival band from the hills and valleys of Yorkshire. They take traditional Eastern European melodies and mash them up with funk, metal, disco and hip-hop to create kick ass gypsy funk.
  • Sunday 9 March 2025 - 2:00pm, Laureate's Library Tour - free live poetry in the Library. Two one hour performances at 2pm and 6.30pm.
  • Friday 14 March 2025 - 7:00pm, Big Fat Fundraising Quiz - Join Marsden’s ultimate quiz extravaganza and help raise money for Marsden!
  • Friday 4 April 2025 - 7:00pm, Mikron Theatre - Operation Beach Hut. Opening night - Join Mikron on our latest musical adventure to the Great British Seaside!
  • Saturday 5 April 2025 - 8:00pm, Alligator Gumbo - Playing jazz from the hey-day of the New Orleans swing/jazz era, in particular the “roaring 20s”.
