Half term activities at Cliffe House, Shepley

Come and join us for a fun outdoor adventurous holiday programme for the October Half Term 2025

Monday 27th October

WOODCRAFT

Using traditional woodcraft tools you will design, create and make your own magical wand with carefully selected wood from our woodland.

£7.00pp + Booking fee

10.00-11.00am | 11.15-12.15pm | 12.30-1.30pm | 1.45pm-2.45pm | 3.00-4.00pm

Tuesday 28th October

CAVING

A fantastic day trip exploring a limestone cave within the Peak District National Park. Walk, climb and crawl through cave systems observing stalagmites, stalactites and fossils - a full fun and adventurous day out. The cost of the trip includes transport to and from Cliffe House, qualified Instructors and all equipment

Wednesday 29th October

BUSHCRAFT

Book on for our fantastic instructor led Bushcraft activity. This is the perfect family activity for all to sit around a campfire toasting marshmallows, making & cooking your own garlic bread twist, all washed down with a warming hot chocolate.

Please advise us of any special dietary requirements.

No need to worry about the damp conditions - this session is based under cover within our woodland.

£10.00pp + Booking fee

Thursday 30th October

ARCHERY

Learn the basics of archery, 60-minute instructor-led sessions,

with 12 spaces per session. Open to children age 6+ and adults.

All equipment provided.

Friday 31st October

CLIMBING WALL

Test your skill and strength on our climbing wall. Suitable for

children age 6+. Fully qualified instructor led session.

All equipment provided.

No advance booking required.

£5.00pp for 4 climbs.

10.00-4.00pm (can arrive at anytime between the hours stated).

Monday 27th - Friday 31st October

PUMPKIN PICKING & CARVING

Come along to our pumpkin patch, pick your favourite pumpkin, and carve it while you’re here.

Wheelbarrows available (limited number available, first come first served).

£6.00pp + Booking fee

10.00-4.00pm (last entry 3.00pm).

Monday 27th - Friday 31st October

HALLOWEEN FUN TRAIL

Get outdoors and enjoy our fun family trail around the grounds of Cliffe House. The trail is buggy friendly and something the whole family can enjoy.

When you have collected all the clues, claim your prize from the Kiosk.

£2.50pp + Booking fee (1 treat per paid trail sheet)

10.00-4.00pm (last entry 3.00pm).

Feeling peckish?

We will be open daily serving a variety of snacks and drinks (served from the Kiosk in the main house).

Monday 27th - Friday 31st October, from 10.00am - 4.00pm

Please note - our adventure playground remains closed for safety reasons. We are in the process of replacing the playground with an exciting new structure - watch this space.
