 Based in West Yorkshire, Ponderosa Zoo offers a great day out for animal lovers, where conservation, education and fun take centre stage.

We are a unique and family-friendly destination – we are proud to be home to over 100 animals, from reindeer and lemurs to tortoises and lizards, all lovingly cared for by our dedicated team of experts.

Whether you’re thinking of visiting us for a family day out, a school trip, or to discover more about some of the world’s most amazing animals, we guarantee a memorable experience for everyone. We have multiple outdoor play areas and coffee shop, pizza shed and Lakeside Restaurant!

The zoo is open daily 10am – 4pm, however we are closed Tuesdays – Thursdays from November to February. Please see website for more details.

A range of activities are offered during school holidays. The Lakeside Restaurant allow bookings for private events for christenings, birthday parties, weddings etc.
