Concert with Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra 2025/6 season

About the event

The Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra perform concerts five times a season, either in Huddersfield Town Hall, or Huddersfield Parish Church. We bring together a mix of players, young and old, from the Town and surrounding areas who share their talent and love of music with each other every week.

Dates and venues

  • Saturday 8 November 2025 - 7:30pm, Concert: Epic Horizons - programme includes: Berlioz – Overture: Benvenuto Cellini; Khachaturian – Spartacus: Suite No. 2; Tchaikovsky – Symphony No. 3 (“Polish”)
  • Saturday 13 December 2025 - 7:30pm, Concert: From Baroque to Bing: A Festive Journey - a warm and wonderfully varied Christmas concert that brings together classical elegance, seasonal sparkle, and timeless holiday favourites.
  • Sunday 8 February 2026 - 3:00pm, A Magical Family Concert - Step into a world of musical creatures, heroic tales, and cinematic magic in "Feathers, Beasts and Fairy Tales" – a fun-filled family concert perfect for all ages!
  • Saturday 9 May 2026 - 7:30pm, Concert: "Symphonic Icons: The Royalty of Pop" - a powerful and moving concert blending orchestral grandeur with iconic hits from Elvis, ABBA, The Beatles, the Bee Gees, and the one and only Queen.
  • Saturday 4 July 2026 - 7:30pm, Concert: Echoes of the Romantic North - a richly textured programme capturing the spirit of northern Europe’s Romantic tradition. Includes music by Brahms, Grieg, Dvorak and Mendelssohn.
