Huddersfield Mrs Sunderland Festival 2027

About the event

One of the largest festivals of music, dance and drama in the country with over 5000 performers in workshops and classes for piano, instrumentals, choirs, vocals, speech and drama. Performers are from 3 to 83 years old.

The Festival runs for 12 days in February each year. The syllabus is launched on 1 September each year with the closing date for class entries at the beginning of November. Workshop closing dates vary

We welcome an audience to all sessions.

Tickets for classes are available on the day, concert showcase tickets are available from the Town Hall box office.

The Young Musician of the Year Competition - this year for vocalists – offers £1800 in prize money.
