About the event
Fundraising for Fresh Futures' work with children and families across Kirklees.
Main coffee morning at our base in Brian Jackson House, but you may wish to hold your own coffee morning and be part of a Kirklees-wide community celebration.
Following the success of last year’s event, we’re inviting cafés, businesses and community groups across Kirklees to come together for a day of coffee, cake and community spirit — all while raising vital funds for Fresh Futures.
Fresh Futures supports disadvantaged children, young people and families across Kirklees, helping to create stronger, healthier and happier futures. By taking part, you’ll be joining a collective effort to make a real difference locally.
How to get involved
We’re encouraging different groups to take part in a way that works best for them:
Cafés & hospitality venues
Create a Yorkshire Day atmosphere in your venue using Fresh Futures decorations and donate 10% of your profits from the day to support our work.
Businesses & workplaces
Organise a coffee and cake morning in your office and invite colleagues to donate in exchange for sweet treats and hot drinks.
Community groups
Hold your own coffee morning at a meeting/ gathering closest to 31st July and raise funds through cake and drink donations.
Fresh Futures will be taking part too
We’ll also be hosting our own coffee morning at Brian Jackson House, using our on-site café space to bring people together. Our fantastic Fresh Futures volunteers will be serving coffee and cake over the lunchtime period, welcoming tenants and the wider Huddersfield community to come along, get involved and support the day.
