Please include an e mail address for the organisation if at all possible. It need not be published, but it is helpful to us as we use e mail for updating purposes.

  1. Hive Huddersfield CIC runs Hive Cafe and Community Hub in central Huddersfield (opposite the train station) and is a great place to meet friends, access a range of activities and support. enjoy delicious coffee and great value vegan and vegetarian food.

    We are thrilled that we will be working with other local organisations supporting wellbeing activities, hosting meetings and creating safe spaces for our community; learning disability, carers and those with dementia, wellbeing and LGBTQ+.

Normally we add categories for you when the entry is set up, but you have the option to edit them. Very occasionally some categories have restricted usage and we’ll let you know if we feel there’s a problem.

The categories are tiered with the broadest first. Click on the plus sign till you find the specific categories that best suit your group.


If you want to change your venue or add a new one please use the postcode / street name field to see a list of venues. This should cover all venues in Kirklees, but if you can’t find the venue you need please contact Community Directory, and we will advise or add it for you.


Use this field to give more details of items relating to your meetings or premises, such as parking, public transport, disabled access and toilets, crèche, computers.

Free WiFi-
Venue HireOur cafe and community hub is available for other groups and organisations to use when the cafe is closed. Our venue hire rates are very reasonable and we can also cater to your exact requirements. Please contact Gabrielle if you have any enquiries. Capacity - Seated max 30 people and Standing is max 60 people
CateringWe can cater for your own community event.
Easy AccessWe have a single step entrance and a ramp for those who use a wheelchair. The toilet has adapted facilities to support those that may need this.
