  1. Compassionate support for people bereaved or affected by suicide.

The project is run by Leeds Mind. We are a peer support service which means that the team have their own personal experience of suicide bereavement.

You can access support as an individual, family or work place.

We provide 1:1 support, peer groups, family support and counselling.

We provide support no matter what the relationship (e.g. friend, parent, colleague, client, teacher) and no matter the length of time since the loss occurred.

We also support people who feel affected by a suicide but do not identify as bereaved (e.g. if you witnessed a death, emergency services).

You can use the service if you believe someone has ended their own life, even if this has not been officially recognised at inquest or an inquest has not yet taken place.

We accept self-referrals and professional referrals. Referrals can be made via our website homepage.

    We provide support in:

    Leeds
    Bradford
    Wakefield
    Kirklees
    Huddersfield
    Calderdale
    Craven

Please see our website for more details.
