  1. The purpose of this group is to campaign for safer and 'easier to navigate' roads and routes for cyclists. We believe that this, together with cycle training, will encourage more people in Kirklees to use a bike for a wide variety of purposes including leisure, well-being, keeping fit and healthy, travelling to work, school or college and for going shopping.

We work in alliances with a wide range of other groups including Environment Kirklees and Community Forums, and we sit on the City Connect Advisory Group.

We warmly welcome all cyclists and non-cyclists to be supporters. Anyone can register to be a supporter by going to the Contacts Page on the Campaign website. There are no fees involved. Registered supporters receive a monthly free newsletter which informs them of current activities and other matters of interest.

We do not have a fixed venue. Regular Committee Meetings and General Meetings are arranged at a variety of venues and details of these are circulated in advance to committee members and/or supporters.

Please see our website for more details and to contact us.

Normally we add categories for you when the entry is set up, but you have the option to edit them. Very occasionally some categories have restricted usage and we’ll let you know if we feel there’s a problem.

The categories are tiered with the broadest first. Click on the plus sign till you find the specific categories that best suit your group.
