  1. The Shepley Village Association (SVA) was set up in 1998 by a group of residents who wanted to ensure that the village continued to offer good local amenities for its residents. It also wanted to ensure that when issues arose, there was a 'voice' that could be raised on behalf of residents with local groups, councillors and so on. To this day, the purpose of the village association is the same. It continues to endeavour to provide a link between the wide and varied groups within the village. It also aims to liaise with other relevant groups and authorities on behalf of the village.

Shepley Village Association is an independent, non-profit making organisation.

Meetings are held one Tuesday in each month.
