  1. A centre for the community. At BCOC you will find a warm welcome, good food and someone to talk to. We want to engage with our community, meet local needs and care for those that are lonely and isolated.

    On Friday mornings we have Intergenerational Drop In:
    Nutritious hot breakfast and/or lunch, Warm space with hot drinks. Advice and signposting to other partnerships and local support groups and services on issues of addiction, homelessness, job lessness, community furniture referrals. One to one emotional and practical support, A listening ear from someone who cares. Social activities and care packages – contains socks, gloves, toiletries etc. Also food from Fareshare and takeaway meal.

    On Tuesdays: Wellspring Over 55’s Social Group
    Weekly community social club with a range of activities include BINGO, Games, quizzes, chat, fun, refreshments, hot meal, food bank, day trips – lots of fun, laughter and friends.

    On Wednesday Afternoons: Crafty Ladies (ladies only) -
    This group is lead by the beneficiaries themselves as they wanted a space separate to men for cultural reasons. Sewing, knitting crafts etc with chat, hot drink and cake.
