  1. Think Forensic work with schools, businesses and a diverse range of groups and communities. Our experience days and workshops are facilitated by experts from crime investigation backgrounds, who are able to recount appropriate experiences as required, ensuring no one is left with unanswered questions.

Everyone at Think Forensic comes with a wealth of experience and a tangible passion for the industry. We have employees from a wide variety of disciplines, ensuring that should you have a question, one of us will be able to answer it!

We work with forensic scientists, who specialise in everything from DNA, chemistry, anthropology, archaeology, fingerprints, geographic and criminal profiling, ballistics and linguistics.

As well as the scientific element of forensics, it’s just as important we draw on experience from the police service. That’s why we also work with ex-police officers who have worked in a variety of areas in the service including; detectives, CSI’s, crash investigators, interview specialists, senior investigating officers, major incident leaders and more.

If you want to change your venue or add a new one please use the postcode / street name field to see a list of venues. This should cover all venues in Kirklees, but if you can’t find the venue you need please contact Community Directory, and we will advise or add it for you.

You can add or amend news items, and the date will change automatically, although you may need to go back into the entry to see the revised date.

To delete a news item, there is a delete option when you press Edit. This currently works only on the headline, and the text field needs to be saved with at least one digit in it, e.g. ‘x’. Alternatively, you can replace it with a new item.

  1. A visit to our crime scene centre is unlike any other. Our building may look relatively non-descript from the outside, but that makes what goes on on the inside all the more captivating. We’re based in Yorkshire, in Skelmanthorpe and our building is a Grade II listed barn.

The crime centre boasts an impressive classroom as well as over eight individual crime scenes, each demonstrating a different type of scene to process.

Think Forensic was established following a successful programme with youth offenders, which was later rolled out by our founder into schools, colleges and further education programmes before the services were expanded again, including workshops and educational sessions for the general public.
