  1. S2R Support to Recovery is an independent mental health and wellbeing charity, providing support across Kirklees through a range of social wellness, nature-based and creative activities. We offer a wide range of learning opportunities around aromatherapy, gardening, sewing, physical and mental health, wellbeing and outdoor activities, all delivered in safe and friendly environments.

We have an open access approach, so anyone* can participate in our group activities and you don’t need a mental health diagnosis to take part. Our activities are suitable for people aged 14 years and upwards.
*Participants must be able to work in a small group setting either independently or with the help of a carer. Those aged 14-16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please note that we cannot provide personal care or transportation.

Our aim is to support individuals and communities to improve and maintain their emotional and physical wellbeing, increase in confidence, learn new skills, build social connections and spend more time in the outdoors. We offer a variety of activities at our Create Space building in Huddersfield town centre, and at various community locations across North and South Kirklees.

Sessions run throughout the week, both in person and online. We update our Activity Schedule every month in the 'What's On' section of our website (www.s2r.org.uk) with all of our upcoming activities and workshops for the following month.

If you would like to get involved, you can come along to one of our Welcome Sessions (held every Wednesday from 10am – 12noon) where we will tell you about our upcoming activities, show you around our building, answer any questions you might have and signpost you to other support services if required. You can also book on to any of our activities or contact us for more information by calling: 01484 539531 or 07933 358800 or emailing us at: contact@s2r.org.uk.
