  1. An ‘Anglican Church’ open on Sundays for worship, 10am 1st Sunday and 9.30am on the 2, 3, & 4th Sundays. Services and other activities are advertised on the notice board outside the church.

    St Thomas’ community church blends traditional and modern worship styles. A mixed congregation use the building for worship, prayer, socialising.

    It is the largest building in the community meaning most groups use the church building as a venue. It is used for concerts and is presently the home of the Thurstonland Community Choir.

    Usually the church is open on Thursday morning from 10.30 with a warm welcome for coffee and cake which proves to be popular with passing hikers during the walking season.

    St Thomas’ Church is an iconic building and can be viewed from many of the local landmarks it spire reaches 33 meters into the skyline. It boasts a William Wailes East Window which depicts the parable of the Good Samaritan, it is currently undergoing renovation.
