History

  1. St John's is a large stone Gothic style church, built in 1832 and Grade II listed in 1984. It is situated in the centre of Cleckheaton, behind the town hall. It is one of three churches in the parish in the Diocese of Wakefield. The church remains committed to making provision for young people, as well as adults, families and the growing number of elderly people in the local community. We are working on up-dating and improving our facilities, and working with artners in the community.
