History

  1. MASTT was formed in November 2007 from members of the local community. Our group is based on the 'Transition Town' Movement started by Rob Hopkins in Kinsale and Totnes.

Since our formation we have organised a number of events and projects to bring together the whole community to improve the way we live now and in the future (details can be found on our website).

We have now planted our Community Orchard in Slaithwaite - volunteers regularly needed to help with its upkeep.

We have also supported the formation of the fantastic The Handmade Bakery, Green Valley Grocer and Edibles.
