  1. Activities for older people to help combat isolation and loneliness.

    The Monthly Meal group meets on the 1st Friday of month 11am to 2pm in the Methodist Church annexe. Lunch is served in a relaxed and informal setting followed by light entertainment or a speaker. The group also have 2 trips a year by coach.

    Armchair Tai Chi led by a qualified instructor takes place on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month 10.30am to 12noon in the Methodist Church annexe. Teas and biscuits served.

    Meltham History Group meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month 1.30pm to 3.30pm at the Deacon Close Centre. Meets to share stories, learn about history of the town& surrounding areas and discus current events.
