History

  1. The club was founded on 10th March 2003 and is a non-profit making organisation which promotes the interests of horse owners and riders in the Pole Moor area. From 2015 it is affiliated to British Riding Clubs and members are encouraged to participate in Area Competitions. However, we will continue to organise events for all levels of rider locally. This year our very popular Annual Show will be held on Sunday 26th August.
As always, we’ll be holding a variety of events over 2018 including Shows, Dressage and Jumping Clinics and Competitions, Social Rides and Horse Owners Courses. Events will be advertised on the website. We also have a Facebook page which can give you up to date information about current events and why not take a look at our Instagram page.
As well as getting all the benefits from being a member of British Riding Clubs, members benefit from discounts for club events such as reduced entry fees at shows. You do not have to own your own horse to be a member. We also have social members. New members are always welcome.
Why not come along to one of our friendly monthly meeting to find out more and meet other riders in the area? The club holds a meeting at 8pm on the first Tuesday of each month at The Rose & Crown, Cop Hill, Slaithwaite. Everyone is welcome to attend.y of your organisation.
