  1. The Spenborough Forget- Me- Not Fund was formed in 1916. A complete history of the Fund was written by Phillip Mallpress in 2003. The Fund's activities during the Second World War are outlined in a book entitled "Their Finest Hour" written in 1949. This also includes both a Roll of all the Spenborough men and women who served and also a Roll Of Honour of those who lost their lives.
Both books can be found in the local history section at Cleckheaton Library.
