  1. Model Engineering Club with workshop facilities and large clubroom/café catering for all persons with interests in model making and running trains.

    Raised railway track for 21/2", 31/2", 5" and small 71/4" gauge locos. Ground level railway track for 5" and small or Narrow gauge 71/4" gauge as well.

    Club room, café, toilet facilities and large car park.

    Members are on site every Wednesday and Sunday

    Extra information - we have a new disabled person carriage.

    You can book the railway for a birthday. Ring for details.

    We need help to run the railway please contact us if you can spare some time.

Venue

If you want to change your venue or add a new one please use the postcode / street name field to see a list of venues. This should cover all venues in Kirklees, but if you can’t find the venue you need please contact Community Directory, and we will advise or add it for you.

News

  2. The club was formed over 30 years ago and by hard work, donations and grants has progressively improved its facilities to that evident today. We are a small club providing companionship and assistance in model engineering and continue to seek new members who have similar interests and can assist in running the club and railway including driving loco's, ticket facilities,landscaping, painting, building etc.
