You can add or amend news items, and the date will change automatically, although you may need to go back into the entry to see the revised date.

To delete a news item, there is a delete option when you press Edit. This currently works only on the headline, and the text field needs to be saved with at least one digit in it, e.g. ‘x’. Alternatively, you can replace it with a new item.

Computers for beginners

  1. Do you want to gain confidence and learn new skills? The 'Computers for beginners' course at Paddock Learning Centre can help. The course is designed to introduce novices and complete beginners to the fundamentals of computing… no experience is necessary.

You will learn how the computer works, understand the jargon and learn how to organise your work. Once you have completed this course you will have the confidence to move on to one of our more specialised courses.
