History

  1. About 14 years ago when the quilting group we belonged to closed we set up Imperial Quilters at a friends house in which a few of us carried on meeting; we became very well known and other people wanted to join us that we had to find different premises. The group is thriving and we now have a large established membership and our own constitution. Quilters come from far and wide to partake in our events; we organise workshops and talks on a regular basis and trips to quilting shows and exhibitions. Everyone is welcome at our group from beginners to the more experienced; we look forward to meeting new people to pass on what is a very valuable and enticing skill.
