  1. A friendly, active group of volunteers - including puppy walkers and guide dog owners - which raises funds for, and increases public awareness of, visual problems and the work of Guide Dogs. New members are always welcome - you volunteer only as much as you wish. Please get in touch if you would like any more information.

We are currently looking at succession planning for a Fund Raising Group Treasurer, Fund Raising Co-Ordinator and have immediate vacancies for fundraisers (which involves for example helping with Tombola at local events e.g. Honley Show, Charity Fun Days or Supermarket collections) we also have a vacancy for a collection box co-ordinator for a patch that already has boxes in situ. Final vacancy is for a Merchandise Co-ordinator which involves ordering and storing a small stock of goods provided by Guide Dogs for Tombola, Christmas Cards, Pens, Diaries, Collection Buckets so would ideally need a bit of space in a spare bedroom for example.

The following link will take you to the National Guide Dogs Volunteer Site and Role descriptions or you can get in touch with me directly if you have any questions.
