  1. A campaigning and social group for the over-fifties on issues such as pensions, health, care, transport and leisure. We are part of the Kirklees Older People's Network family, and have a page on their website.

We normally meet every third Thursday from 1pm to 3pm (except June) and usually have a speaker. These are announced in the Huddersfield Examiner.

There is no meeting in June as a number of members like to attend the Pensioners Parliament in Blackpool which is organised each year by the National Pensioners Convention which KOP/HDPO are members.

Our campaigning means we get to visit different areas. This includes visits to parliament and the yearly Blackpool Parliament where ministers and MPs are invited to speak.

We are a growing organisation and welcome new members.
