  1. The league hosts teams from a wide area of Kirklees, Wakefield, Barnsley, Calderdale, Bradford and Leeds, covering age groups from the Under 7s to Under 18s.

    The league is sponsored by Macron and is in the top five largest football leagues in the country. With over 800 teams now in the league and over 10,000 players there is a place for all ages and abilities, from a wide area to enjoy football.

    The Huddersfield Macron Junior Football League is managed by a Committee who oversee all day-to-day functions of a football league. This includes registrations, fixtures, referee appointments, help and guidance, charges and fines and promotion of junior football in the area. The League meetings are at Bradley and Colne Bridge WMC.

    The League has a Child Welfare Officer and a Safeguarding Children Policy.

History

  1. Established in 1973 with a dozen teams, the League now provides organised competition for over 9,100 youngsters playing in over 650 teams
